Cloud Rendering/Introduction

Introduction

Managed cloud rendering for products built with React Video Editor.

RVE Cloud Rendering is a managed API for video generation at scale. Your editor, product, automation, or AI agent sends a render request, and RVE returns the finished video. Use the same integration for one output or a large batch of video variations.

Private beta

Cloud Rendering is in private beta. View the product and apply for access for your RVE account.

What you receive

  • Managed render infrastructure
  • Render progress and failure details
  • Private output downloads
  • Usage and cost information in the RVE Portal
  • API keys that you can revoke or replace
  • Rendering in the region selected for your account

Cloud Rendering or browser rendering

Browser rendering uses the customer's device. Cloud Rendering runs outside the browser, so the user can leave the page after the job starts.

Cloud Rendering does not replace the RVE SDK. It is an optional managed service that connects to an RVE editor integration.

For production products, automations, AI agents, long videos, and large batches, Cloud Rendering is the recommended SDK rendering method. Browser rendering remains useful for prototypes and light exports.

Access flow

  1. Request beta access.
  2. RVE enables Cloud Rendering for your account.
  3. Activate a Cloud Rendering plan.
  4. Create an API key in the RVE Portal.
  5. Connect your server to the render API.
