RVE Pro is a complete Next.js video editor source-code template for the latest Pro release, Version 8. You should buy it if your team wants full ownership, needs to change any part of the editor, and is comfortable maintaining its own codebase. Pro development continues, but it is not kept in feature-by-feature sync with the current RVE demo or SDK. If you want updates through maintained packages, choose the SDK instead.

RVE Pro includes the latest released source template, Version 8. The SDK demo shows the newer SDK codebase, which is developed and updated separately. The two products do not match feature for feature. We continue to develop RVE Pro, and our current direction is to use the newer SDK architecture as the foundation for the next Pro release.

Yes, with the Startup or Enterprise licence. The Personal licence is for one developer working on non-commercial projects, such as learning RVE, testing a product idea, automating personal video content, or creating videos for a non-monetised YouTube channel. Monetised content, client work, and revenue-generating products require a Startup or Enterprise licence.
Choose the template if full source access is a requirement and your team can maintain its own version. Choose the SDK if you want the current RVE architecture and a simpler long-term upgrade path.
A Remotion licence is not included with RVE Pro. If you use the source template commercially, you may need to buy a separate Remotion licence. The RVE SDK includes the required Remotion licence, so SDK customers do not need to buy one separately.
