Want easy updates without maintaining an editor fork? Explore the managed RVE SDK
RVE Pro Source Template
Currently on Version 8, RVE Pro is included as a Next.js source template. Test it at v8.reactvideoeditor.com.
RVE Pro is a complete Next.js video editor source-code template for the latest Pro release, Version 8. You should buy it if your team wants full ownership, needs to change any part of the editor, and is comfortable maintaining its own codebase. Pro development continues, but it is not kept in feature-by-feature sync with the current RVE demo or SDK. If you want updates through maintained packages, choose the SDK instead.

Questions
Personal and Startup purchases include the complete RVE Version 8 source template through a private GitHub repository, plus 12 months of updates and support. The Startup licence also includes priority support and all Pro Remotion templates by RVE.
We send a verification code to your purchase email. Go to reactvideoeditor.com/source and enter the code, your email address, and your GitHub username. You will then receive an invitation to the private RVE Pro repository.
RVE Pro includes the latest released source template, Version 8. The SDK demo shows the newer SDK codebase, which is developed and updated separately. The two products do not match feature for feature. We continue to develop RVE Pro, and our current direction is to use the newer SDK architecture as the foundation for the next Pro release.
Yes. Version 8 is the latest released Pro template, not the final version. We are working toward the next source release, and the current direction is to use the newer SDK architecture as its foundation.
You can keep using the version of RVE Pro that you bought for as long as you want. Personal and Startup purchases include 12 months of updates, support, and private GitHub access. After that period, your licence and existing source code do not expire. Renew only if you want continued access to updates, support, and the private repository.
Choose the template if full source access is a requirement and your team can maintain its own version. Choose the SDK if you want the current RVE architecture and a simpler long-term upgrade path.
A Remotion licence is not included with RVE Pro. If you use the source template commercially, you may need to buy a separate Remotion licence. The RVE SDK includes the required Remotion licence, so SDK customers do not need to buy one separately.
