Cross-fades between two overlapping scenes by interpolating their opacities in opposite directions — scene A goes from 1 to 0 while scene B goes from 0 to 1. The simplest and most universally applicable transition in video editing.
Transition duration is configurable. Both scenes are rendered simultaneously during the dissolve, creating a true cross-fade rather than a dip-to-black. Use between any two Sequences for smooth, professional scene changes.
